IEC Georgia received a generous donation from Jon Edwards, Market Manager of Hagemeyer NA Columbus office.  The donation was an array of electrical materials valued at over $400.00.  Mr. Edwards states, “Hagemeyer wants to support the local apprenticeship program”, and IEC is grateful for the support of its partners.
IEC 1st year apprentices will use the materials to understand the curriculum concepts better, providing them with hands-on lab work.  IEC instructor Jeff Norris, adds that “the apprentices will be learning light switching and controls and the materials provided will reinforce the concepts.”

IECworks with the entire industry to provide well trained professional electricians into the industry, and it does so with suppliers and contractors.  Contractors and Partner members arewhat makes IEC such a great organization.  IEC thanks Hagemeyer for its donation to the IEC apprenticeship program, and we look forward to shaping the future of the electrical industry together.
